I moved to Athe...ohh sweetie, I know how you feel. I moved to Athens a month after graduating, and pretty much cried every day for two straight months because there was just nothing - no job opps. I tried so so hard, and finally, hopped over to the temp agency in town. they had job openings posted that were full time permanent, too - thankfully, i was contacted by one of those, and things worked out perfectly! I'm still working at the same place five years later, and couldn't be happier (well, i'm lying - i'd like to have more $$, but who wouldn't?) hang in there. I promise you, it'll work out. And when you least expect it, too. (So stop looking at that phone, hoping it'll ring!)

May you be blessed in 2011! :)Steph @ Professors_Wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03968911934330532312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7535369060577979748.post-32075015443143742552010-12-30T06:18:52.224-08:002010-12-30T06:18:52.224-08:00Have you tried going through a temp agency? I was a temp for 3 months and then they hired me "for real". it just helped get me in the door.

stay positive! it's tough out there right now... so you're not the only one. i'm sure something will come about soon!Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08710512948479683834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7535369060577979748.post-19102196086796399372010-12-29T18:58:29.329-08:002010-12-29T18:58:29.329-08:00I know how you feel. I sent out about 100 resumes one month and got literally zero response, not even rejection letters.

You've just got to focus on what you can do that makes you happy. I've been trying to monetize my talents when looking for a regular job frustrates me. Granted, that hasn't worked out either, but it's a nice change of pace from emailing resumes.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09610208332113861702noreply@blogger.com
