There isn't a whole lot I like about winter, in fact I would give anything to move away from the snow. But there are a few things I love about this time of year, or luxuries I have that make these months a little easier.
- Having a garage I can park in so I don't have to scrape snow off my car.
- The quiet after a big snow.
- Curling up on the couch with a blanket and a bottle of wine.
- Cooking in the crock pot.
- Having a snow blower (although I can't use it) so the snow cleanup is much easier.
- Andrew's winter beard (which I blogged about yesterday).
I was trying to come up with 10 things but I didn't get that far so here are a few photos from our latest winter storm.

Wow, the latest storm really slammed OH! And that quiet after a big storm you mentioned? That was totally this morning, my drive to work was so eerily quiet. It was still dark, the roads hadn't been touched in Athens... I think the snow won. haha!

I live in Cleveland too. Nice weather we've been having the last few days.
And as much as I wanted to keep it, my wife just made me shave off my winter beard. Ug.
Awesome you have a garage. Having to scrape off the car in the bitter cold before setting off to go to work is the worst.
I definitely don't miss the snow or cold!!! If/when we move back I really hope I can move somewhere with a garage. I am having a crockpot dinner tonight too, even though it's almost 70 here. Stay warm!
